Skip the hotels in Moab and grab one of these houses. Positive: This place is a hidden gem in Moab! It is on the edge of town, which you might like for its quiet or its proximity to the trails. The ability to park right next to the unit and keep an eye on your equipment is something you don't realize is such a luxury after fighting for parking in a typical hotel and dragging luggage in. Full kitchen, a nice little living room, and a loft for the kids make this a great place to stay in Moab. The place is amazingly clean inside and out, and you can tell there's been a serious investment in property maintenance. Negative: It is on the southeast side of town, which might not be what you want if you are heading into the parks, but it is really close to the trails, and really, the town is so small that it does not matter much since you are 5 minutes away from Main Street. Sorry, having a hard time finding something not to like.

Balanced Rock Cabin #05 was absolutely adorable — cozy, well-appointed, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location is perfect, close to Arches National Park and great for exploring the area. Everything about the cabin was charming and thoughtfully put together. It’s quiet, peaceful, and just a great spot to unwind. The only drawback is the small hot water tank, which means shorter showers, but that’s a minor issue compared to how great the stay was overall. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing desert getaway.
